BRYJO Recognized as 2014 Local and Regional Contractor of the Year Award Winner
For the 2nd consecutive year, BRY JO Roofing and Remodeling was awarded Contractor of the Year by The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). Back in November, BRYJO was awarded local Contractor of the Year awards by NARI Greater Dallas in two categories: Residential Bath $30,000 – $60,000 and Residential Addition under $100,000. They also won for the same categories in 2013 at both the local and regional levels.
An impartial panel of judges, experts within the remodeling industry and associated fields, selected winners based on each entrant’s submission, which include “before and after” photography and project descriptions. Judging focused on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation and degree of difficulty.
Regional CotY Winners will now advance as finalists at the national level. Contractors from seven regions around the country vie for the National CotY recognition. All projects in the CotY awards program are an improvement or an addition to an existing structure.
To be considered for a CotY Award, a company must be a NARI member in good standing. The entries of this year’s competition totaled more than $72 million worth of remodeling projects. NARI members represent an elite group of the approximately 800,000 companies and individuals in the U.S. identifying themselves as remodelers.
Homeowners are estimated to spend a total of $150 billion on home improvements in the U.S. through 2014, according to the Joint Center for Housing Studies.
